Michael Manchin is a retired Nassau County police detective supervisor who earned numerous awards, including the Distinguished Service Medal for bravery, during his 26 years of service. He served honorably in the U.S. Army as a Military Policeman attached to the 7th Division. Michael has a B.A. from Adelphi University and extensive experience in both banking and business. He volunteers his time to support Veterans Affairs, Kiwanis, The American Legion, Police Holy Name Society and Religious Teacher at St. Killian’s R.C. Church. He and his wife Dianne have lived in Farmingdale Village for 30 years and are the proud owners of Oliver, a Yorkie who has happily accepted the job of campaign mascot.
